2017 Reach Regatta

Held in conjunction with the National Yacht Club Open regatta

Important things to know:

  • FREE parking or book Wheel-Trans to National Yacht Club at 1 Stadium Road (Lakeshore and Stadium Rd)
  • Electronic door opener at entrance to clubhouse, a large bathroom stall (both M and F), elevator to get to restaurant
  • Easy launch of Martin 16s by crane
  • 3 lifts to assist sailors in and out of boats
  • Racing takes place in Humber Bay, NOT in the harbor so less boat traffic
  • Professional race committee from National Yacht Club
  • 2 days of racing
  • Racing fleets are Martin 16 Gold and Martin 16 Silver.
  • Registration is $40 (for both days)
  • Be part of a big event at National Yacht Club!

Register on LORC website HERE

Procedure to register on the LORC website - lorc.org:

  1. Scroll down and select: NYC Open Regatta - 2 Day - Martin 16, Aug 12 - Aug 13, $40.00. Click on "Select".
  2. If it asks you Rating/Division, choose "One Design"; click on Confirm & Proceed to Next Step.
  3. Enter your email address; click on Confirm & Proceed to Next Step.
  4. Enter your Profile Information. Where it says yacht club, you can select "Other". Click on "Save and Next".
  5. Enter the Boat info, Click on "Add New Boat". You'll be taken to a new screen.
  6. For Boat Name - enter "Martin16", for Sail Number - enter "TBD"; for Boat Type - enter "Martin16"; for Length (LOA) - enter "16". For Division - enter either "Martin16 - Gold Fleet" or "Martin16 - Silver Fleet". Click on "Next".
  7. Read and accept the Terms. Click on "Next".
  8. Payment: pay the fee.

You need to arrive at 9 AM Saturday and Sunday; we will be wrapping up in the late afternoon after the BBQ to tow boats back to QQDSP.
